Miami, Florida, Feb. 4, 2016 – U.S. Security Care (USSC) has appointed Joe Leon to head security operations in USSC’s Florida offices. Leon, a former lieutenant in the Miami-Dade police department, brings over thirty years of police and security experience in various positions including uniform operations, investigations and administration.
Leon has special expertise in port security, protective services and criminal justice. He served as a liaison with federal law enforcement and was responsible for Miami airport related investigations. At the Port of Miami (POM), he was responsible for managing the County security personnel while performing their physical security duties. Leon has a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice management from Union University in Ohio, and a university certificate on administrative officers management from North Carolina State University.
