Security Survey

The U.S. Security Care Security Survey identifies your company's critical assets, evaluates risks and develops a matrix of criticality, vulnerability and probability of risks. It reveals the direct impact of these risks on your most valuable assets and operations. The survey provides the information necessary to implement the appropriate levels of safety and security your organization needs to cost-effectively limit risk and liability and prepare for continued operations during potential crisis.

The Survey Process
The Security Survey begins by listening to the client and setting objectives. The scope is based on the established objectives, corporate and industry history, and preliminary assessments and analysis. This process typically involves:

  1. A thorough assessment of existing security policies and procedures, as well as the communication to each level within the organization.
  2. Interviews with senior management and others familiar with the critical assets of the organization and those responsible for establishing and operating the security and safety measures, such as access controls, pre-employment screening, perimeter and interior security, and loss prevention.
  3. Critical assets, vulnerabilities and threats are identified and ranked according to probability and impact.
  4. Security and safety policy, procedure and application changes and additions are developed based on value-added approaches to mitigating the risks to your organization's most critical and vulnerable operations.

Results-Oriented Reports
U.S. Security Care's experienced and knowledgeable operations personnel create a preliminary report that meets the objectives and scope of the survey. The report offers a comprehensive assessment of critical assets, potential risks and suggested measures to limit exposure and provide stability and business continuity during potential crisis. The preliminary report is reviewed and discussed with senior management before the final one is prepared to ensure that the report meets the organization's objectives and receives the buy-in of management.

Security surveys do not follow a laundry list of do's and don'ts. Each survey is as individual as the company and the facility being surveyed. Typical factors include:
  • The scope of operations (local, regional, national, multi-national), location of these operations and number of facilities.
  • Industry (pharmaceutical, military, utilities, healthcare and professional), services all have their own distinct risk areas.
  • Amount and value of assets, including people, property and information
  • Visibility of corporation and its executives.

The scope and ultimate contents of the Security Survey report are determined by continuous communication and interaction with the client. We work with you to provide a value-added approach to improved security and safety for your people, property and information!
